Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) is proud of our country’s heroes — service members wounded or killed while protecting our liberty, men and women who paid a high price for our freedom. We offer the Purple Heart Scholarship in appreciation of those sacrifices.
Service members and veterans wounded while serving in the Gulf Wars — Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom — are eligible for the Purple Heart Scholarship. Spouses and dependents of soldiers killed in action during these conflicts are also eligible for the scholarship.
How the Purple Heart scholarship works
Students approved for this scholarship will be awarded an amount to cover all remaining tuition and fees once federal and state financial aid, military aid and Veteran Affairs benefits have been deducted from the total amount. Please provide a copy of your DD Form 214 and/or orders of being awarded the Purple Heart. If you are a dependent, please provide a military ID card.

Globe University and Minnesota School of Business are members of the Globe Education Network. Other member colleges include Utah Career College, Institute of Production and Recording, Minnesota School of Cosmetology, and the Duluth Business University. Globe Education Network also provides academic support and manages a wealth of shared resources for the benefit of students. Through consortium agreements approved by member schools' accrediting bodies, students are able to earn credit for classes taken at member schools.
Globe University/Minnesota School of Business is accredited by Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees, master of science degrees, bachelor of science degrees, associate in applied science degrees, diplomas and certificates.
