Jump start your college career through the High School Advantage Scholarship. If you, as a high school senior, enroll in an associate degree, bachelor’s degree or tech school program at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB), you will be eligible to take up to four courses free of tuition — one course per quarter, beginning fall quarter prior to your official start date in the program. You are eligible for this scholarship if you are a high school senior with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher. Contact us to learn more.
Eligibility criteria for the High School Advantage Scholarship
- An eligible applicant must be a current year graduating high school senior
- The student must be enrolled in an associate or bachelor degree program at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business
- The student must have a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.0
- The student must have a signed GPA verification form (provided by the admissions department at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business) showing the student’s aptitude for success in college-level coursework
- The tuition benefit will only apply to courses required in the student’s program of enrollment.
- The student will be responsible for the cost of textbooks and/or laboratory fees associated with the specific course
- For a student to be eligible for the High School Advantage program, a student graduating in the spring must begin attending GU/MSB in the summer or fall quarter immediately following the student’s senior year. A student that graduates early in the senior year and chooses to start classes in January or April following graduation can also take advantage of the scholarship program
- A student taking advantage of the early entrance start date will receive a course free of tuition charges during that quarter, provided the student carries a minimum of 12 quarter credits and maintains satisfactory academic progress
- A student that withdraws or fails a course while enrolled under the High School Advantage program must successfully appeal in writing to the academic department for continued enrollment under the program
- While in the High School Advantage program, a student will remain in a non-degree seeking status, will not be considered a regular student, and will not be eligible to participate in financial aid

Through consortium agreements approved by member schools' accrediting bodies, students are able to earn credit for classes taken at member schools.
