Globe University/Minnesota School of Business embraces the diversity of our student body and the contributions immigrants have made to our society. We are pleased to participate in the Development, Relief and Education Aid for Minors (DREAM) Act program.
Through our DREAM Act Scholarship, a student who has successfully completed a high school program in Minnesota and has undocumented immigration status receives assistance towards the cost of a college program leading to a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree, or a technical diploma. Contact us to learn if you might qualify.
DREAM Act Scholarship awards:
Each GU/MSB Campus will award one scholarship in an amount equal to 50% of the total program costs of the recipient.
Eligibility guidelines:
- The student has undocumented immigrant status and is or will be a graduate of a Minnesota High School prior to the start of classes
- The student must have resided in Minnesota and attended a Minnesota High School for at least two years
- The student must have a cumulative high school GPA of 2.0 or higher
- The student must apply and be accepted for admission prior to October 1 to be eligible
- If the recipient fails to carry a minimum of 9 credits per quarter and maintain satisfactory academic progress the award is forfeited from that point forward
- Awards will be disbursed each quarter and are paid directly to the college
- The applicant must complete the scholarship application, including a brief statement describing the importance of a degree to career success

Globe University and Minnesota School of Business are members of the Globe Education Network. Other member colleges include Utah Career College, Institute of Production and Recording, Minnesota School of Cosmetology, and the Duluth Business University. Globe Education Network also provides academic support and manages a wealth of shared resources for the benefit of students. Through consortium agreements approved by member schools' accrediting bodies, students are able to earn credit for classes taken at member schools.
Globe University/Minnesota School of Business is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award Master of Business Administration (MBA) degrees, Bachelor of Science degrees, Associate in Applied Science degrees and diplomas.
