Careers in the Court System: Criminal Justice Degrees


As a criminal justice professional in the court system, you will:

  • Work with judges and attorneys to see that justice is served.
  • Protect the rights of children and adults

Prepare for a career in the court system

The criminal justice program at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business was designed by legal professionals, and provides the theoretical and practical training employers look for when evaluating job applicants for career positions in the court system. We offer two degrees:

  • Bachelor's in Criminal Justice, a four-year program that lays the foundation for entry-level positions and future advancement. If you attend year-round full-time, you can earn the bachelor's degree in just 36 months.
  • Associate in Criminal Justice, a two-year program, excellent preparation for an entry-level position. A year-round full-time student will complete the AAS in 18 months.

Job titles may include the following:

  • Special investigator
  • Victim advocate
  • Children’s advocate
  • Clerk of court
  • Bailiff

You can earn the Associate in Criminal Justice degree through courses offered at all GU/MSB college campuses, including locations in the Twin Cities region and in greater Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. 

Need more flexibility? Consider our Criminal Justice Online program. You can complete all coursework without every visiting a campus. On-campus or online, you can take classes full or part-time.
