The Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree program at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business will prepare you for entry to and advancement in a rewarding career field. Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice degree

  • Criminal justice courses. Fundamental criminal justice training offered in the associate degree program is followed by advanced studies including fraud examination, community policing, comparative justice systems, correctional counseling, drugs and society, probation and parole, victimology, cybercrime, cultural diversity, terrorism and Homeland Security.
  • Leadership preparation. Prepare for advancement opportunities with courses in business, management, ethics and organizational behavior. 
  • Capstone or internship. Complete your studies with a study of a current issue in criminal justice (capstone) or by experiencing the system in action through an internship in a government or security agency, correctional facility, social service agency or other professional setting.
  • Electives. Prepare to practice in diverse communities with courses in communications, humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.

This four-year degree can be earned in 36 months of full-time study. Criminal justice is offered online and at campus locations throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin and South Dakota. Hands-on training and coursework prepare graduates for a wide range of careers in criminal justice, including corrections, private security, protective services and loss prevention. (Some states require law enforcement officers to have training beyond our criminal justice degree program.)
