Criminal Justice · Paralegal · Legal Administrative Assistant

Every social service, government program and industry employs legal professionals, and opportunities for job applicants with the right credentials are excellent. Where do you fit into the legal scene? Below are brief summaries of positions held by our legal science graduates:

  • Paralegal Studies: A paralegal works closely with a lawyer, conducting legal research, interviewing clients and witnesses, and preparing documents for court.
  • Criminal Justice: Criminal justice professionals work with law enforcement agencies, the court system, departments of corrections and private security agencies, interacting with suspects and convicted offenders.
  • Legal Administrative Assistant: A legal administrative assistant has to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, keyboarding skills and a high level of organization. This is the person that keeps the law office, court or corporate legal department running smoothly.

We respect the varied talents our students bring to the classroom, and will carefully evaluate requests for college credit for work experience.As a student and as a graduate of GU/MSB you will receive job-search support from our Career Services Department. 

Our legal science degree programs are offered at all Globe University/Minnesota School of Business campuses, including locations in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul area: IDS Center, Blaine, Brooklyn Center, Woodbury, Plymouth, Richfield, and Shakopee), Rochester, Moorhead and St. Cloud, MN; Eau Claire, WI; and Sioux Falls, SD.

You can take classes day or evening and full or part-time. Need more flexibility? Consider our Paralegal Online or Criminal Justice Online program. You will be able to complete all coursework without every visiting a campus.
