Every type of organization recognizes the need for information technology (IT) managers with industry-specific skills. Globe University/Minnesota School of Business offers a Master of Science in Management: Information Technology (MSM:IT) program that prepares students for management within an IT department or company. This program is designed for the student with experience or a special interest in an information technology or information systems field.*

MSM: IT Management courses
The Master of Science in Management program is 18 months long. A full-time student will take two consecutive courses each quarter for the first year, completing the program with a 25-week practicum/business project. In addition to general leadership courses, the information technology emphasis addresses the following topics:
- Project management
- IT security management
- IT personnel management
- Ethical issues in technology
- Applications of information systems management

*Acceptance to the program is determined on the basis of a number of factors, including professional experience, academic credentials, letters of recommendation, a statement of purpose and an interview with the program dean or the dean’s representative. Graduates of Globe University/Minnesota School of Business’s bachelor of information technology degree program are invited to apply to the MSM program.
