In addition to the above topics, students complete courses designed specifically to help them succeed in the classroom and get good jobs after graduation:

  • Student Success
  • Career Development
  • Veterinary Clinical Training
  • Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) Review

Career opportunities for veterinary technicians

The A.A.S. in Veterinary Technology degree is offered at locations in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul) area as well as in greater Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Many credits from the associate degree program transfer smoothly to our Bachelor’s in Veterinary Technology degree program.

Subject to approval by the Education Department, students with prior experience and training may qualify for college credit for work experience, transfer of credit from another institution, or credit for military training.
