Preparation for nursing in today's global community

End-of-life care. In group simulations classmates play the parts of family members as they prepare to deal professionally and effectively with complex medical and emotional issues in end-of-life care. The course includes clinicals in hospice care, funeral homes, survivor groups and related settings.

Complex medical emergencies. Training on manniquins, learni to respond to realistic, increasingly complex medical emergencies you will later experience in hospital critical care units.

Integrated holistic care. An appreciation for cultural diversity and human spirituality is a thread woven throughout our program. You will prepare for a nurse-healer role that integrates principles of alternative therapies with traditional Western medicine.

As a nursing student at our college

Study contemporary issues including integrated holistic care, the role of the hospice nurse and care of the critically ill patient.
