ARRT Limited Scope of Practice in Radiology

A core requirement of our medical assistant programs is a course in radiology. Students receive hands-on instruction using professional-quality X-ray equipment. Coursework prepares students for the Limited Scope of Practice in Radiology exam given by the American Registry of Radiographic Technicians (ARRT).

Certified Medical Assistant (AAMA)

Studies in our medical assistant program includes a review seminar for the Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) exam, offered by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA). The CMA (AAMA), a highly regarded credential, assures employers that you have specific clinical, general and administrative skills.*

Other professional certifications for medical assistants

We strive to provide practical, career-oriented skills training. Coursework in medical assistant programs includes training for additional professional certifications:

Medical assistant program

We offer an associate degree program that trains students for careers as medical assistants.

  • Associate in Applied Science in Medical Assistant. The associate degree program combines hands-on training in core technical skills with general education courses to provide a well-rounded education. It can be completed in 21 months of full-time, year-round study.
