Accreditations

medGU/MSB has been providing high-value career education to students for 130 years. Our health science program graduates are ready to provide clients, patients and employers with excellent services. This commitment to quality in higher education and the outstanding performance of our graduates have earned the following accreditations and approvals for the college:

  • The Bachelors in Nursing program at Minnesota School of Business-Richfield is approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing and is in process of seeking accreditation by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education.
  • Globe University/Minnesota School of Business Medical Assisting programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Curriculum Review board of the American Association of Medical Assistants Endowment (AAMAE).
  • The Minnesota School of Business/Globe University veterinary technology programs are accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) as a program for educating Veterinary Technicians.
  • GU/MSB students are prepared to take the National Certification Therapeutic Massage Body Work Certificate exam, and for entry-level licensing through the Federation of State Massage Therapy Board.
  • All programs at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business are approved by the Minnesota State Approving Agency for Veterans’ Education.
  • GU/MSB is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award diplomas, associate in applied science degrees, bachelor of science degrees, and master’s degrees.
  • GU/MSB is registered with the Iowa Department of Public Instruction.
  • Globe University and Minnesota School of Business are registered as private institutions with the Minnesota Office of Higher Education
  • Minnesota School of Business is authorized to operate in the State of North Dakota by the State Board for Career and Technical Education.

Where do you fit into the health science picture? If you want to work directly with patients or clients, providing them with care, counsel and training on a one-on-one basis, consider a career as a nurse, personal trainer, massage therapist or medical assistant.
