Upon graduation, you’ll be able to demonstrate competency-based computer skills, give a presentation using current technology, impress employers with your communication skills, and utilize winning customer service techniques.
- Massage Therapy: In only 9 months of continuous, full-time study, you’ll receive a thorough hands-on education in a variety of massage types and techniques. You’ll also gain a comprehensive background in how the human body works through kinesiology, anatomy and physiology and be prepared to take the NCETM certification exam offered by the MBLEx licensing exam. Licensure is required to practice massage therapy in the states of Wisconsin, South Dakota, and North Dakota. Licensure requirements in Minnesota are determined within cities, counties, and municipalities and students need to research local requirements to ensure compliance.
- Medical Administrative Assistant: Ready to begin a career as a medical secretary, transcriptionist or administrative assistant? In only 12 months of continuous, full-time study taking an average of 15 credits per quarter, you’ll gain the career training and dedicated medical knowledge you need for success in this growing career field. Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology and health care ethics knowledge are all within your reach.
- Medical Assistant: If you’d prefer to work directly with patients in the health care field, under the supervision of a physician, this is the career training program for you. Over the course of 15 months of continuous, full-time study, you’ll receive instruction in OSHA principles, medical administrative and clinical procedures like taking vital signs, laboratory testing, understanding medical terminology, and much more.
