Interactive Media and Graphic Design Training

At Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB), we focus on hands-on, practical training, providing students with skills that translate directly into careers in graphic design:

  • Graphic design: Learn the fundamentals of color theory, illustration and typography — and how to compose those elements to create compelling images.
  • Print and web page production: In classes on page layout, basic web design, advanced web delivery and Flash, learn to produce print and Internet publications.

What you can do with this diploma

young_crowdInteractive media and graphic design specialists manipulate digital images for a variety of commercial and educational applications. At GU/MSB you will learn to add pizzazz to advertising, corporate publications and educational and training materials for print or the Internet.

  • Graphic design for print: Printing is the largest custom manufacturing industry in the state of Minnesota. The Minnesota printing industry employs more than 42,000 people at more than 1,100 firms.
  • Graphic design for the Web: Internet marketing, corporate Web sites and online publications for government agencies and non-profits—the market for Web-based graphics is growing exponentially.

A diploma in Interactive Media and Graphic Design will prepare you for a wide range of jobs, or multi-tasking in a variety of roles. If you decide to earn a college degree, all coursework will transfer smoothly to the Associate in Applied Science in Interactive Media and Graphic Design program.
