Work authorization with an F-1 student visa for MBA candidates
MBA students at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business are working professionals, and the application of management attributes in the workplace is integral to the MBA program. As a result, international MBA students with F-1 status are eligible for curriculum-related employment. Many begin their curricular practical training shortly after beginning studies at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business. Work authorization under the F-1 student visa lasts for a maximum of 12 months.
Online and on-campus MBA offerings
As an international student, you may wish to enroll in our online MBA program and complete some program requirements before entering the United States. Our International Student Services are located at our Minneapolis, MN campus, in the IDS Center on Nicollet Mall. The program is also offered at GU/MSB campus locations throughout the Twin Cities area and greater Minnesota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. We will be opening more Upper Midwest locations in the near future, including several in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Sessions begin every four to six weeks and students typically complete the Master of Business Administration degree in less than two years.
Acquiring a Form I-20 and F-1 student visa
If you are a foreign national considering coming to the USA for MBA studies, and would like more information about the Globe University/Minnesota School of Business program, please contact our admissions office. If you apply and are admitted to our Master of Business Administration program, the college will issue a Form I-20 application to be included with your F-1 Visa application.

Business Degrees
Globe University and Minnesota School of Business are members of the Globe Education Network. Other member colleges include Utah Career College, Institute of Production and Recording, Minnesota School of Cosmetology, and the Duluth Business University. Globe Education Network also provides academic support and manages a wealth of shared resources for the benefit of students. Through consortium agreements approved by member schools' accrediting bodies, students are able to earn credit for classes taken at member schools.
