Military Benefits: Department of Defense

If you are a Department of Defense (DOD) employee or dependent, Military Student Services staff members at Globe University/Minnesota School of Business (GU/MSB) are always ready to answer questions, assist you with a DOD Education Benefits issue or help you select a college program.

Below are instructions on how to get started. Contact our Military Student Services department anytime toll-free at 1-866-342-3505 or e-mail veterans@globeuniversity.edu.

Step 1 - Apply for admission into the program

Complete an online application or request an undergraduate or graduate application and mail to the address below. Please be sure to check and fill in the military veteran information under the military information portion of the application.

Step 2 - Request official military transcript for evaluation (undergraduate students only)

To request an official evaluation of your military training for college credit, please have your official transcripts sent directly to:

Step 3 - Request official civilian transcripts

Request official transcripts from any colleges or universities attended. Note: At least one course must be completed through GU/MSB before a student can receive an official GU/MSB transcript.

Step 4 – Contact education office

Visit your Education Office on base to determine your eligibility for tuition assistance.

Step 5 – If applying for financial aid

Visit our financial aid page for help with your FAFSA.
