Career Education for Military Personnel

We don’t take your service to our country lightly. Whether you’re currently serving in the military, are a military veteran or have a family member who serves, Minnesota School of Business & Globe University welcome you. You’ve sacrificed, endured, persisted, and we believe your courage and experience should count not just when you’re in-uniform, but also when you’re in the classroom.

That’s why we have worked hard to set up the support and resources to help you transition from military base to college campus. Pursuing your education is a great way to advance your career, whether that’s in the service or as a civilian, and we want to help you take advantage of every academic and professional opportunity available to you.

Our director of military services, Mike Hughes, First Sergeant (Retired) U.S. Army, 21 years on active duty, is here to help you select a program, apply for both GI Education Benefits and non-educational benefits, and anything else you might need. All you have to do is call 1-866-342-3505 or contact veterans@globeuniversity.edu.

Our financial assistance

The cost of an education should not prohibit you from pursuing the degree you want. Minnesota School of Business & Globe University offer a number of military scholarships for active duty and retired service members of the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Drilling Reserve/National Guard:

  • Purple Heart Scholarship
  • Military Advantage Scholarship
  • Military Active Duty/Retired Scholarship

On top of our scholarships, we also offer college credit for training you received during your service, under the standards of the American Council of Education. It starts with giving you six college credits for Basic Training, and from there, our staff can work with you to assess your training record and evaluate what may qualify toward your transcript.
