Scholarships for Military Personnel and Their Families
Globe University/Minnesota School of Business honors the sacrifices of military service members by offering several scholarship opportunities to eligible military personnel/veterans and their families. Our military student services staff will help determine if you qualify for any awards and advise you how to proceed.
Eligibility requirements apply to the following military scholarship opportunities. Please contact the financial aid office or see the course catalog for full eligibility requirements.
- Purple Heart Scholarship. Service members who were injured in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom or Operation Iraqi Freedom may be eligible for this award. The scholarship covers tuition and fees remaining after all other elected federal and state financial aid, military aid, veterans affairs benefits, have been applied. Family members of service members killed in those conflicts may also qualify.
- Military Advantage Scholarship. Qualified military personnel and their family members may be eligible for this scholarship. Recipients receive $480 per quarter. Applicants should complete this enrollment certificate.
- Military Active Duty/Retired Scholarship. Active-duty or retired service members may be eligible for this award of between $870 and $1680 per quarter based on credit load.
- Active Duty Spouse and Dependent Scholarship. Spouses, domestic partners and dependents of active-duty or retired services members may be eligible for an award of $1200 per quarter.
