Jesse (JD) Ramirez graduated from Minnesota School of Business (MSB) in December of 2014 with his associate degree in massage therapy. He is currently working at Massage Retreat and Spa where he is utilizing his education and people skills as a Massage Therapist.
When asked why he chose Minnesota School of Business he said, “I chose MSB because they offered an education beyond just certification, and they are a military-supportive school. The staff, faculty, and instructors are not only friendly and encouraging, they are working professionals knowledgeable about the industries and careers who can offer advice gained from experience and practical applications.”
Massage Retreat and Spa was one of the many employers that massage students met with during their courses. This exposure to employers allows students to create relationships prior to graduation and help plan their career path. Along with access to employers, students have the ability to grow close with each other and faculty because of the small, personalized classes.
“My favorite memory is the combination of relationships and experiences with the other students and instructors. Amid the hard work and studying, there was playful banter, exchanges of trust, and a sharing of stories and experiences.”
JD is a glowing example of the success that graduates at the Plymouth campus are experiencing.
