Getting to Know MSB-Elk River’s New Massage Therapy Program Chair

Posted by on October 31, 2014

If you haven’t had a chance to meet Minnesota School of Business-Elk River’s Diana Oberg, massage therapy program chair, now is the time to do it! Oberg has been with us for four weeks in her new role, but she isn’t new to MSB or our campus. Oberg has been an adjunct instructor for four years at Brooklyn Center, Plymouth and Elk River prior to beginning her new role.

Oberg has owned her own massage business in Crystal, Minnesota since 2003. While she has decided to focus on her role at MSB, she will also do massage part time from her home. Before entering the world of massage, she considered entering the veterinary technology field but discovered that it wasn’t a good fit and decided that massage was where she belonged.

She currently lives in Otsego with her husband and 9-year-old son. She owns two boxer dogs and has a passion for fostering and volunteering with Across America Boxer Rescue. In her spare time, she can be found gardening vegetables and flowers at home.

Oberg shared that she has a goal to grow the massage therapy program at MSB-Elk River. She is very excited to bring her green (closely followed by blue) Insights energy into the classroom and to the program.

A personal goal she shared, that she admits might be slightly impossible, is to save every boxer on the planet. She would also like to travel to Germany, Poland and England. She shared that she’s been fortunate to visit Europe (France, Italy and Switzerland), but wants to see more!

Be sure to visit Diana on campus or in the massage therapy lab. If you would like to contact her, please e-mail her at

Thank you for your Interest in Minnesota School of Business.
