Dr. Debbie Wright speaks to vet tech students

Hill’s Pet Nutrition is one of the top pet food companies that runs test trials to ensure that the food will produce the results that is intended to do, whether it’s weight loss, urinary disease, allergy or any number of issues that may arise with a dog’s health.

“Students really enjoyed learning about a place of employment that is not your typical small animal clinic,” Vet Tech Program Chair Amy Doherty said. “Debbie was a very informative speaker, giving the students insight into how they trial certain forms of pet food.”

Students were interested in the way that Hill’s Pet Nutrition conducts food trials to create the numerous types of pet food available to consumers.
