Trevor Langlois, 24, a graduate from Minnesota School of Business-Blaine (MSB), passed away tragically as a result of injuries from a hit-and-run incident in Hinckley, Minn. He leaves behind his wife, Katie, and two-year-old son, Ethan.
After experiencing vehicle troubles on June 17, Trevor pulled over onto an I-35 entrance ramp in Hinckley. He exited the vehicle and was struck by what is believed to be a Ford F-150, which then fled the scene. A suspect has been arrested following a tip from the public.
Trevor graduated in March 2013 with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Business Administration. According to Robin Gauvin, admissions representative who worked closely with Trevor, he and Katie came to MSB to support Trevor’s small business. Without her husband, Katie is forced to close the business. She and Ethan will be relocating out of state to be near family.
Trevor was an Army veteran, and Katie is as well.
MSB-Blaine is coordinating a benefit to help Katie and Ethan get back on their feet during this difficult time. A spaghetti dinner and silent auction will be held at the Forest Lake VFW on Friday, July 19 from 5-8 p.m. Donations are being accepted for the silent auction. All proceeds will go to Katie and Ethan.
