Minnesota School of Business- Lakeville’s DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) team competed with five schools on November 2nd 2012 at Minnesota School of Business- Elk River and came home well decorated!
Four first time competitors came up big for Lakeville. Ryan Skluzacek (pictured left) teamed up with Blaine’s Thomas Monson to win Business Marketing.
The husband and wife team of Bruce & Melissa Doeden (pictured right) placed 3rd in the event.
In the Accounting event Ryan Skluzacek placed 2nd and Kris Selting 3rd (pictured left).
Retail Management found Melissa Doeden taking 2nd and Hannah Schmidt 3rd (pictured right).
This was the first competition for all of these people – WOW!
President Darren Thomas (pictured left) had a great showing taking 2nd in what the judge said was a “really, really, really” close competition in Sales Management Meeting and he was also 2nd in Marketing Management.
