For the second consecutive year, Minnesota School of Business-Blaine sponsored the Walk for Hope, for Alexandra House, which is a domestic and sexual abuse shelter. This year marks the eighth annual Walk for Hope, which took place on Saturday, September 29 at Bunker Hills Regional Park. The following is from the Alexandra House website:
“Every year, Alexandra House supporters and area community members gather to raise awareness about domestic violence and sexual violence, remember those we have lost, and honor the many survivors. This family-friendly event grows bigger each year as we continue to recognize the impact of these issues and make a commitment to help end them.” (www.alexandrahouse.org)
In conjuction with the sponsorship, MSB-Blaine received 5 registrations for the walk/5K. Participants from the campus were: Tiffany Irwin, Julie Kresh, Stephanie O’Malley, Carolyn Youngbauer, and Jennifer Youngs.
