Melinda Rustad, Dean of Education at Minnesota School of Business in Moorhead, has accepted an invitation to serve as Chair of the Education, Training and
Workforce Development committee for the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo Chamber of Commerce.
This committee focuses on a strong education system being the foundation of work force potential.
Rustad has been a member of the committee for over a year. The mission statement of the committee is “to support the growing and complex demands of the work force, education funding needs to reflect the desired results.”
Several community members from colleges and other educational institutions volunteer to serve on this committee.
“I am honored and excited to take on this position with the Chamber,” Rustad said. “It’s a great opportunity for me to grow personally and professionally.”
Rustad takes over the post officially next week.
