Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management- Many Career Directions and Opportunities

There is certainly a lot of talk about what is going on in health care today. Health care reform, the recent Supreme Court decision, and the upcoming elections have all contributed to a lot of discussions and debate around the kitchen table and elsewhere. Insurance organizations, physicians, hospitals, local community organizations, and individuals are all trying to figure out what it all means and where it’s going.

The Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management program at the Minnesota School of Business is designed to provide students with the tools and knowledge to succeed in the “business side” of health care.  The program combines a comprehensive understanding of how the health care industry works with the business skills required to manage a career in the health care industry of the future.

Health care opportunities in marketing, finance and accounting, management and administration, public health, compliance, and information technology are growing. Insurance companies, hospitals, provider organizations, and government organizations continue to seek innovative individuals to meet their growing needs. The Health Care Management program at the Minnesota School of Business provides the courses and practical experience necessary to explore career opportunities with a variety of different organizations in an array of professional directions. Students include both those new to the industry and those already working in health care seeking to expand their career opportunities.

Health care is going to continue to change. Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management program at the Minnesota School of Business provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the changes taking place and the skills and relationships required to pursue many of the new and exciting opportunities that are developing every day.
