Resource Center Hours and Staff: Early Fall 2012

The Resource Center is now open for Early Fall!  Students are encouraged to come in and get math and writing help from our student tutors.  The hours for Early Fall are the following:

WRITING:

  • Mondays from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Tuesdays from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m and 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Wednesdays from 8 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m and 2:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.

MATH:

  • Mondays from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
  • Wednesdays from 4 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
  • Thursdays from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.

The following students will be in the Resource Center this quarter:

Eric Fredrickson

Eric Fredrickson

Eric Fredrickson is a math tutor. He is a full time Accounting/Forensic Accounting student at MSB Shakopee. Eric is an Army veteran who enjoys winter, especially playing hockey. He likes fishing, which includes a yearly trip to the BWCA. He also enjoys spending time with his nieces and nephews when he gets the chance.

 

 

Emily Schmitt

Emily Schmitt

Emily Schmitt will be working in the Resource Center this quarter as a writing tutor. This is her second quarter here at MSB in the Business Management (Marketing) program. When she is not at school or working, she enjoys spending time at home with her family. She lives with her fiance and their 2 year old son, Jackson. They spend a lot of time outdoors doing things such as boating, snowmobiling, and swimming.

 

 

Whitney Lawrence

Whitney Lawrence

Whitney Lawrence will be working in the Resource Center this quarter as a writing tutor. Whitney is in the Accounting program. In her spare time she likes to read, hang out with her friends and family, and watch TV. Her favorite shows are True Blood, Glee, Vampire Diaries, and Game of Thrones.

 

 

Lauren Swain

Lauren Swain

Lauren Swain is enrolled in the Veterinary Technology program. She will tutor for Vet Tech classes as well as math on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00-6:30 PM in the Resource Center. Although she enjoys school, her life outside of MSB is very important to her. Her faith and her family are a huge part of her life. She has two younger sisters that she is very close to and loves spending time with them. She is also engaged to her best friend and plans to be married this June! She loves animals and currently has two cats at home, Pumpkin and Lucy. In her spare time she enjoys jogging, reading, and doing puzzles. After graduating she plans to work in a small animal clinic in southern Minnesota.
