Lifelong Learning at Your Local Public Library

Posted by on July 2, 2012

Did you know there are more public libraries than McDonald’s in the United States?
This week, we’re celebrating the Fourth of July. One of the greatest strengths of our country is our system of public libraries!
During the break, take time to visit your local public library. Not only does your local public library have great picks for summer reading, it also has programs, services, and resources to assist you in your learning endeavors outside of the classroom.

Looking for free entertainment? Look no further than your library! The library has CDs and DVDs that you can borrow. The library also hosts cultural programs, story times for children, adult book clubs, and more.

Need to find a quiet study space during the school year? Check out your local library! Many libraries have dedicated spaces for reading and studying. They are also technology-equipped so that you can work on your online courses during your visit.

Check out the @ yourlibrary website to learn more and find the public library near you or visit the Minnesota School of Business online library resource.
