Blaine Campus Recognized at National Kidney Foundation Banquet

Posted by on June 14, 2012

Several departments from Minnesota School of Business, Blaine campus were recognized for their partnership with the National Kidney Foundation (NKF) at their annual honors banquet on June 5, 2012 in St. Paul.

Tricia Hayes, Meghan Hathaway, and John Daley attended the banquet and represented the Blaine campus partnership with the NKF. Julie Kresh and Dan Peterson were also honored.

The Blaine campus partnership consists of several initiatives, including service learning projects in various classes, and student volunteers to assist during kidney screening events. One class re-engineered and re-designed the NKF regional web site, in a class that didn’t even require a service learning project (IT 324, User Interface Design). Kristin Bellows, Division Program Manager of NKF, worked closely with the class during the web site re-design, giving Blaine students a customer-driven experience.
