Criminal Justice students, staff, and faculty of Minnesota School of Business, Blaine campus will participate in the Go Commando 5K obstacle race in Washington County on Saturday, June 9. The race involves running a 5K, including 18 obstacles such as Battle Bluff, Log Jam, Gunny Gallop, Landmine Lane, and many others to finish in the Go Commando mud pit. The competitors won’t know specific details of the obstacles until they get to them. Upon arrival, racers will be shuttled to the undisclosed race location and given their race packets before beginning the run with 200 other racers.

Criminal Justice students thought it would be fun to run this race, and invited others from campus to join the madness. “It has been difficult to train, not knowing exactly what each obstacle is,” said Jessica Ackerman, campus security and Criminal Justice student. “I have been running in various terrains in case the race isn’t on pavement.”
