We hosted a Career Fair at the Lakeville campus on May 24th. The event was a huge success. We definitely had a full house between 11am and 1pm. We featured over 30 employers in our student commons area and had program specific presentation tables in the front lobby.
In a survey the employers took after the event, they stated an average of 15 job seekers stopped at their table to talk about career options. We had over 20 community members looking for career options. This was a very busy day on campus.
This event could not have been pulled off without our Director of Career Services, Elaine. She really cared about finding the right employers for the career fair. She ensured that they have current openings prior to coming to the event. She also ensured that the students and community were well aware of the event. Even though the weather did not cooperate, we still had a full campus. Great job!
