The seminar included tips on securing wireless networks, creating safer passwords, effective use of anti-virus software, and effective use of Windows Defender and Windows Firewall.

Approximately 15 people participated in the seminar, and a lively discussion added to the effectiveness and value of the presentation. Additionally, Nick provided handouts with handy tips on preventing identity theft and minimizing exposure to cybercriminals.

Nick is one of Blaine’s military veteran students. He expects to graduate with his B.S. in Information Technology in Spring of 2013.
