Minnesota School of Business, Blaine campus’s Real Estate class went on a field trip to the Hennepin County Government Center on May 3. They toured the Government Center and learned about all the offices housed in the downtown Minneapolis building. This was an exciting day to be at the Courthouse because there was a lot of press around waiting for the jury to come back with a verdict in the Amy Senser vehicular manslaughter trial.
The students also went over to see in-custody arraignments – first appearances for people facing criminal charges. They also participated in a tour of the Hennepin County Law Library guided by a reference librarian and met with the staff at the County Assessor’s Office.
