Steve Hirsch, accounting program chair at Minnesota School of Business, Blaine campus, has received an International accounting designation. Hirsch, who currently holds an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license, received the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. This comes as a result of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the London based Certified International Management Accountant (CIMA) organization recently joining forces. As a member of the AICPA he qualified for the designation based on his experience working in
the accounting field prior to his teaching engagement at MSB.
“I am thrilled to have qualified for this designation and feel that I have tapped into an International organization that can provide MSB with valuable student resources,” said Hirsch.
