Voter ID Constitutional Amendment will Appear on Ballot this November

Posted by on April 9, 2012

Last week was a busy week for Minnesota’s Legislators.  On Wednesday, both the House and Senate re-passed a bill to put a Voter ID Constitutional Amendment on the ballot this November.  If you vote in Minnesota, on November 6th you will get to answer the following question: “Shall the Minnesota Constitution be amended to require all voters to present valid photo identification to vote and to require the state to provide free identification to eligible voters, effective July 1, 2013?”
