The Certified Veterinary Technician review class held its quarterly Test Prep session. Students this quarter listened to Jesse Ball talk about staying motivated and always going above and beyond so that they will stand out from the rest of the applicants that may be applying for the same job.
The second speaker of the day was Jamie Michael, a nutritionist from Olmsted Medical Center. Jamie, along with her intern talked about the importance of healthy nutrition and how it affects the body while studying for their National Exam.
The last speaker of the day was Shelly Greenfield and she gave the students information on how to use exercise as a way to deal with stress. All three speakers discussed the importance of a regular sleep habits and the importance of drinking water. The students all walked away with some information that they felt they would be able to use during their time prepping to take the Veterinary Technicians National Exam.
