Minnesota School of Business-St. Cloud recently hosted a Career Fair for its students with 29 employers in attendance. The event was well attended and several students secured job interviews as a result.
A wide variety of employers participated in the event including Anderson Trucking, Array Services, Bakers Life, Encore Capital, Massage Envy, Preferred Credit, Snap Fitness and Viking Coke. Students from all programs had a choice of potential employers to scout.
Brittany Wells, of Massage Envy, was particularly excited to be presenting, she said, because she was one of the first students to graduate from MSB-St. Cloud’s massage program. Massage Envy is nationally franchised and soon will be opening a business in the St. Cloud area. March graduate-to-be Katrina Salo introduced herself at the Job Fair and will interview with them soon.
Other students successful in landing interviews and followl-up appointments included Sam Falk, a business management student, who spoke with AFLAC and Anderson Trucking.
Shannon Templin and the Career Services department helped students prepare for the event by assisting with resume and interview tips.
