Student Association Social Recognizes Year’s Achievements

Student Services Coordinator, Shawn Kremer, welcomed students and staff to the 2011 Student Association Social with accolades for Minnesota School of Business-St. Cloud individual students, advisors and group successes.

Faculty Advisor the of Year was awarded to Tom Polinceusz for his inspiration and guidance for the Information Technology Association. The Most Inspiring Association Member of the Year went to Cory Ley for his  leadership and enthusiasm for the new Interactive Media and Graphic Design Association. The Event of the Year was awarded to the Information Technology Association for its Computer Bug Cleaning Clinic. The Most Improved Association was awarded to DECA, which rose from a foundering club to a Diamond status in the state chapter. The Most Consistent Association went to SCNAVTA (Vet Tech) for its annual community and Wildcat Sanctuary efforts. Finally, the Most Community Involvement Award went to the Interactive Media and Graphic Design Association and was accepted by President Krista Day and Vice-President Cory Ley.

Tami DeLand, Community Relations Coordinator, wrapped up the ceremony by thanking the association students.

“You are the faces of MSB,” she said. “And you are shining!”

Each association had an opportunity to recap the year’s events and highlight what is to come in 2012. Afterward, students and staff celebrated with cake and lemonade.
