Janea Okoye, Director of Admissions and Dan Archambault, Admissions Representative, from the Minnesota School of Business Blaine campus, will be attending the Welcoming Independence New Growth with Support fair on Saturday, February 25. The resource fair will be held at Anoka Ramsey Community College and will be hosted by Anoka County and the Anoka County Children and Family Council. The purpose of the fair is to provide mentally challenged youth with tips and tools that help them transition into an independent lifestyle. Some areas of focus include:

  • Means Restriction
  • Housing
  • Advocacy and Guardianship
  • Independent Living Skills
  • Finances
  • Healthy Dating

“Janea and I are really excited to this event,” says Dan. “The ‘We Care’ philosophy, generated by the GEN Network, stems outside of our campus and current students.  We take pride in our communities.  Our goal is to offer any advice and assistance that these individuals are looking for.  This opportunity not only helps us with brand recognition, but it also enables us to give back and be associated with an important community event.”
