Minnesota School of Business Blaine Collegiate DECA students exceled in invitationals at the Minnesota School of Business Lakeville and St. Cloud campuses on January 13 and 19, respectively.
Breanne Nelson, Thomas Monson, Jason Bednar, and Josh Nelson, participated at the annual invitational in St. Cloud. Breanne and Thomas placed third in Business-to-Business Marketing, and Jason and Thomas both placed top six in the Marketing event, with Jason taking fourth and Thomas fifth.
Jason Bednar, Victoria Kropelnicki, Thomas Monson, and Breanne Nelson competed at the Collegiate DECA invitational at the Lakeville campus. Several events were offered, including Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business Ethics, Sales Manager meeting, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Business-to-Business Marketing, and Employment Application.
Jason Bednar received first place in Business to Business Marketing, second place in Sales Manager meeting, and a Certificate of Excellence in Marketing Management. Victoria Kropelnicki received third place in Employment Application, and a Certificate of Excellence in Human Resource and Business Ethics. Thomas Monson received first place in Marketing Management, second place in Business to Business Marketing (partnered with Breanne Nelson), and a Certificate of Excellence in Sales Manager Meeting. Breanne Nelson received first place in Human Resource Management, second place in Business to Business Marketing (partnered with Thomas Monson), and a Certificate of Excellence in Business Ethics.
