Job Search Chart Useful for Job Seekers

Posted by on January 17, 2012

It is often said that searching for a job is a full time job in itself. Because many job seekers have other obligations: school, families and friends or another job, the task of job searching can seem very time consuming, but there are many tools job seekers can use to make their job search more efficient.

One job searching tool that many students find useful is a personalized job search chart. On a job search chart students can track the companies and positions they have applied to as well as if they have followed up on an application and with whom. They can also record usernames and passwords for the applications, job boards and company websites. Some students even record specifics about the position and why they are interested in working
for that company. That way, when they follow up or get a call back they remember details about the position and company.

The job search chart has helped many students save time and stay organized. If you haven’t tried one for your job search, I would highly recommend it.
