The holiday season is a time for giving and recognizing those that need help. The Medical Assisting Club at MSB-Moorhead decided to serve those that serve our country, by adopting a Yellow Ribbon Family for the holidays. After holding a bake sale fundraiser, the club purchased a number of toys, games, movie passes, and gift cards for the family.

All Proceeds From The Bake Sale Fundraiser Went To A Yellow Ribbon Family In The Community.

The father of the military family was wounded in action and is still recovering from the injury.

“I’m glad we could a help a family that is trying to get through some tough times right now,” says Medical Assisting Program Chair Meghan Pesch. “Our students rallied around this cause and made a difference to this family.”

The students did have an opportunity to meet this family as well, although their names are to remain anonymous.
