Professional development and community engagement are key components to the success of Globe Education Network (GEN). One of the opportunities offered by the organization, which utilizes both components, is the Business Alliance Partnership. Among other benefits, the Business Alliance Partnership offers a scholarship of up to 10 percent of the cost of tuition, up to a maximum of $5,000 to employees of any organization partnered with GEN.
Julie Kresh, Service Learning Coordinator at Minnesota School of Business in Blaine, recently secured a Business Alliance Partnership agreement with Memorial Blood Centers (MBC). “This is a very exciting partnership for Minnesota School of Business, especially because of the long standing relationship between the two organizations, both in service-learning and volunteer efforts as well as blood drives held on campus,” says Julie. “We are always looking for more ways to educate the community about our organization and philosophy, and the Business Alliance Partnership is just one of the ways we are able to do that. We are excited for the continued relationship with Memorial Blood Centers.”
