Staff Name: Julie Kresh

Title: Service Learning Coordinator

How long have you been working for Minnesota School of
Business? 2.5 years

What did you do before working at MSB? I was an actress
in Italy.

What do you find most rewarding about your job? Being
able to successfully match students and faculty with community partners to
create meaningful service learning projects is most rewarding for me.

What is your role with students on campus? I teach
SS103: Global Citizenship and assist all faculty and students with service
learning. I also keep track of everything Insights for our campus and provide
assistance with eFolio.

How do you define success? I define success by my
answer to the following question after any experience, “Did I do my best?”

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Spending
time with my family and friends and eating at Chipotle and Panera.

What/who is your inspiration? Anyone that is able to
achieve a level of self-awareness so that they consider who and what their
decisions impact, and do something about it, is inspiring to me.

If you were on a sitcom or reality TV show, which would it
be and why? I would be either Monica from Friends or Elaine from
Seinfeld because my real life is often so similar to the character’s
experiences.

What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie
depends on my mood… right now, I could watch 27 Dresses.

What is your favorite type of music? I like just
about anything except for Country music… ick.

Where can you be found on campus? If I’m not in
class or meeting with community partners, you can find me in the Career
Services office.
