Eight faculty and staff members at Minnesota School of Business-Brooklyn Center volunteered time helping give the Mothers Against Drunk Driving state office in St. Paul a fresh coat of paint as part of the school’s “We Care” initiative.
The MSB group, which included three program chairs, the Dean of Faculty, Associate Dean, a full-time instructor, a career services representative and the communications coordinator, spent six hours at the M.A.D.D. facility prepping, priming and painting a variety of rooms.
“This was a fun way to give back to the community.” said MSB-BC instructor Michael Leonard. “I think the people at M.A.D.D. really appreciated the fact that we gave some time to help them out.”
Although all the offices and rooms were not completed, the volunteer efforts from MSB’s crew made a significant dent in the overall project.
