Staff, Students, and Faculty took to the streets of Fargo-Moorhead on Sunday, August
28th for Streets Alive! Streets Alive is a physical activity festival where walkers, bikers, runners, skaters, dancers – any form of human-powered movement – bring the Streets Alive! Three miles of roads connecting downtown Fargo-Moorhead are closed to automobiles and opened for community members to move!
MSB-Moorhead had a booth on ‘Participation Parkway’ at Davey Memorial Park to meet all the bikers, rollerbladers, walkers, and runners on the route.
A group of Veterinary Technology students also created a display on how to pick out the right dog for your family. Over 3,000 people participatedi n Streets Alive many stopped by our booth to say hello! �
There were a number of other activities along the 3-mile route including Zumba, live music, hula-hooping, and games for children.
