Plymouth Vet Tech Students Learn New Therapeutic Techniques

MSB-Plymouth students in Kari Johnson’s Integrative Medicine class had the opportunity to learn new therapeutic techniques from massage and energy specialists today.

Sarah Palm, a canine sports massage therapist, spoke on the benefits of massage as a healing tool, while Brad Palm lectured on different energy techniques using rocks and crystals.

Sarah Palm, who works out of Twin Cities Animal Rehabilitation Clinic in Burnsville and Cloud Nine Training School for Dogs in Hopkins, spoke about her experience in the field.

Students learned about working on different types of animals and identifying various ailments, including muscle tightness and causes of pain.

Brad Palm, a level 1 Reiki practitioner, presented on different energy, focusing on specific rocks and crystals. His lecture touched on the different energies that come from different rocks and crystals, and how those energies have varying effects on different ailments, moods and behaviors.
