Minnesota School of Business hosted a night at the River Bats ballpark (Joe Faber Field) to huge success.
Massage students provided free chair massages to fans prior to the game while Admissions representatives greeted the crowd. Associate Dean of Students Jessica Denne threw out the first pitch to start off the fun.
Students and staff participated in the between inning games and vied for prizes like Ciatti’s and QDOBA gift cards. Information Technology Chair Tom Polinceusz proved to be a great crowd pleaser: first by winning the spaghetti eating contest in the second inning and then by participating in the bat spin in the fifth. (Fortunately, the spaghetti stayed down!)
Other good sports included: Mike Evans and Michelle Schreifels playing “Junk in the Trunk;” Nick Tapio going on the QDOBA burrito hunt blind-folded; and Jeremy Dockendorf and Kari Sullivan competing in the Giant Burger Battle.
Faculty and staff enjoyed burgers and wings on the Buffalo Wild Wings deck, and the River Bats contributed to a perfect evening by winning the game against Thunder Bay 11-9.
