Program Advisory Committees
As a provider of career-focused education, Globe University/Minnesota School of Business responds quickly to meet the demands of a rapidly changing job market. This flexibility provides students at our school with a regularly updated curriculum that matches the knowledge and training that employers seek.
Keeping curricula current
In order to provide students with up-to-date, valuable skills for today’s global workforce, all of our degree, diploma and certificate programs are designed in consultation with working professionals, business owners, managers and recruiters in related industries.
These professionals form our Program Advisory Committees (PAC), which meet regularly to review programs in light of current industry standards and trends. When an improvement is suggested by a PAC, it can often be put into action by the beginning of the next academic term.
Mentoring and professional networking relationships
Students have opportunities to put their classroom-knowledge to use in real-world situations through internships, externships and service and applied learning opportunities. Graduates tell us that among the benefits of career-focused education, they appreciate opportunities to network with employers and industry professionals and build mentoring relationships that enhance learning. These connections also prove helpful when exploring employment opportunities and building references.
